Downer’s Engineering, Construction & Maintenance division supports our customers through the asset life cycle, from initial feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning, operation, ongoing asset management and decommissioning.
The Conoco Phillips Darwin LNG Plant has been in operation supplying Liquefied Natural Gas to the Japanese market since 2006. Downer, as the maintenance contractor, provides support and resources to Conoco Phillips to ensure the successful completion of planned core, project and shutdown maintenance activities.
To support ongoing core maintenance and project activities we are seeking applications from experienced Electricians and E&I Technicians to work closely with our client.
You will have gained your instrumentation experience working on in an operational environment on a major hazard facility, such as LNG, petroleum or other complex processing plant.
Core crew roles will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a strong technical instrument capability beyond installation and commissioning. You are familiar with the permit to work systems and lock out/tag out procedures with solid computer skills, your exposure to maintenance management systems such as SAP will be highly regarded. You will be a team player with high regard for your own health and safety as well as those around you.
Project requirements will vary but may suit those with a predominately construction based experience.
Other mandatory qualifications include:
- Dual Trade qualified and NT licenced
- Cert III or IV Hazardous Equipment qualified
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation
- Current Provide First Aid including CPR and LVR
- Valid Working at Heights training
- Current EWP licence
- DARWIN RESIDENTIAL ONLY
