We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to work as a Bid Coordinator to develop and produce high quality tender proposals for our Transport Services business.

About the role:

The Bid Coordinator is embedded in the National Bid Team and supports the development and preparation of tender submissions and other business opportunities. As a Bid Coordinator you will work closely with the Bid Manager and other key personnel through the capture and tender phases, to ensure we are able to meet our clients’ needs, while fulfilling our strategic objectives.  Activities include:

  • The coordination, preparation and delivery of high-quality winning tenders, in line with business processes
  • Writing high-quality, well-presented, technically accurate and professional proposal content
  • Undertaking background research of client requirements, and conducting policy analysis
  • Workshop facilitation to acquire the necessary information from project stakeholders
  • Ensuring key project staff used in our tender submissions have up-to-date and competitive Curricula Vitae
  • Assisting with the collation and maintenance of project information, including photos, project story boards, client/ stakeholder feedback, as well as innovations and lessons learned
  • Assisting with the collation of client/ stakeholder feedback, ensuring these are stored centrally in our corporate systems and are readily accessible
  • Participating in information management activities, ensuring tender and project information is appropriately stored in the corporate systems
  • Participating in post tender submission reviews to identify opportunities for improvement

About you:

We are looking for a natural and enthusiastic team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively to deliver outstanding results. You will have:

  • A minimum two years’ proven experience coordinating the tender process, from conception to final submission
  • An understanding of the various procurement methods employed by clients and the impact of these methods on tender strategy
  • Excellent written communication skills, and proven ability in presenting compelling proposal with competitive differentiators and methodologies
  • The ability to work across levels in the organisation and build strong working relationships
  • A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and continuous improvement
  • An ability to thrive under pressure and produce win/win outcomes
