Our Workforce Management Centre in our Utilities Business provides a centralised hub for communications with our customers and our Installations, Faults and Maintenance teams. About the role:

The Downer New Zealand Work Management Centre (a blend of Dispatch operations, contact centre and administrative support) is currently looking for a Facilities Work Flow Coordinator to join the Auckland team. This is a complex inbound, outbound delivery environment working throughout the Downer FSU business supporting multiple Utilities and Facilities maintenance contracts nationwide. Our Essential Services team ensures that customer relationships are well maintained by providing rapid solutions to overcome major outages and faults.

About you:

Previous work experience: minimum of three years relevant experience coordinating and planning maintenance activities in either Facilities or Utilities. Resource planning and management experience will be an added advantage.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Management is desirable.

In addition to the above work and qualification requirements, you are a team player and you are someone who enjoys working end to end, understands the importance of your work and is able to think on your feet.

We look for strong phone based verbal communication skills with previous experience in either Contact centres, a dispatch environment or a coordination role. You will enjoy resolving issues, jeopardy managing, problem solving with your customers and have good technical aptitude to manoeuvre around multiple systems to seek answers. Other skills such as multitasking, ability to remain calm under pressure.

Flexibility to work on a rotating roster is essential as we offer a 24/7 365 day service.
