We are now looking for a high performing Business Development Manager, experienced in the Facilities Management, Maintenance and Asset Management sector, to support the continued growth of our business.  You will champion organic growth, pipeline development and drive new business opportunities, working on a mix of new and existing services contracts.  Although your core focus will be on integrated hard FM opportunities, you will be part of a business development team covering related sectors including hospitality, soft FM, utilities and laundries services, giving you the opportunity to diversify and enhance your overall business development knowledge, capabilities and relationships.  We are looking for a collaborative team player who can make a strong contribution to the success of our wider team. 

You will: 

  • Be an experienced Business Development professional, with a strong background across hard facilities management, maintenance and asset management disciplines 
  • Possess a track record of identifying, researching and developing marketplace opportunities within the FM sector
  • Have experience in opportunity capture planning, positioning and bid leadership
  • Be commercially and financially astute
  • Be a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills allowing you to build rapport quickly and influence on all levels
  • Be a self-starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
  • Be willing to travel across the Auckland region and NZ on a regular basis
