Our Waikato District Alliance has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the team.  You can help us look after our 2500 Km roading network and we can throw in some pavement rehabilitation for some variety.

About the role:

As our Quality Assurance Technician the key purpose of the position is to capture quality assurance information to demonstrate compliance with design and quality standards in a safe and timely manner.

You will need to ensure that information is accurately recorded and appropriate actions are taken in relation to achieving quality objectives i.e. material and construction compliance as defined in Downer NZ and Customer specifications/contracts.  This will include but is not limited to:

  • Planning your work in a safe and methodical manner.
  • Coordinating with project teams to facilitate good productivity on site.
  • Reviewing design and quality standards and development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Capturing accurate records and evidence on site.
  • Documenting site records and producing compliance reports.
  • Supporting our Performance and Quality team.
  • Contributing to a positive office morale though active engagement and teamwork.
