The City Rail Link (CRL) Project is a game changer for Auckland and is the largest transport infrastructure project ever undertaken in New Zealand. The CRL is a 3.45km twin tunnel, transforming the dead-end station at Britomart, creating two new stations at Aotea and Karangahape Road and reconnecting to the network at a redeveloped Mt Eden station.
Downer is a key partner in the Link Alliance - a consortium of local and international construction companies – that is delivering the tunnelling, stations and the systems contracts.
The Construction Site Administrator will support a Station Construction Manager and wider site team with effective administration and maintain a welcoming presence as the initial contact for the Station site. The Construction Site Administrator is also responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of administration strategies and initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced administrator with a “can do” attitude who thrives on being the key contact for the office. You will need to offer:
- A genuine zest for working in construction
- Ability to work in a challenging environment on your own or in a team
- Strong communication, time management skills and initiative
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong experience in the development of administration systems and processes and managing a supplier database
- Prior experience using Sharepoint
- Travel & accommodation booking experience
