We provide our industry-leading services nationally to Downer and Spotless NZ customers. As we pride ourselves in being industry leaders, we have embarked on a governance programme to ensure standardisation in how we document, manage, and control our contracts. Ensuring our people have easy and centralised access to contract documentation is critical. As such, we are looking for a ‘switched-on’ person in the SharePoint Admin Support role to join our team on a one-year fixed term contract (with a possible 6 month extension). The role of SharePoint Admin Support is essential to ensure contract SharePoint sites meet the needs of the end-users while also facilitating a seamless experience as information is migrated and/or uploaded.
About your role:
To ensure success as a SharePoint administrator, you will have the ability to create a positive experience for end-users by:
This is a fast-paced role with multiple end-users at any given time requiring access to their SharePoint and knowing how to use them properly. You will be expected to work according to The Downer Standard (TDS) FS&U Programme, delivering to clear outcomes so excellent time management and laser sharp attention to detail areessential. You will be expected to forward plan your work, ensuring all milestones are met so that FS&U meets compliance requirements with all documents being uploaded.
You will be someone who has patience and resilience, with the end-user experience top of mind as people learn how to navigate their SharePoint site. For many, this is new, and you will need to develop and deliver training and support in an easy and friendly way. Expecting some resilience, you are someone who is empathetic, and know how to shift behaviours. To get a better grasp of usage and trends, you will provide reports to the Head of Technical Standards and Capability and the TDS Programme Manager so that extra support can be provided to end-users.
It goes without saying that you will have excellent stakeholder engagement experience, written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively as part of the development team, and a strong commitment to Health & Safety.
