About the role:

We are looking for an outstanding National Operations Director with an excellent track record to work within our dynamic and challenging multi-contract facilities services teams, including Defence, Greenspace and Industries operating across New Zealand.  This is a critical position that provides the driving force that will motivate the team, challenge the status quo, and bring about innovation and efficiencies during a period of significant change and growth.

A member of the Senior Leadership team, the position oversees an array of operational functions, and offers real challenge and opportunity to succeed and add value to this substantial Division.  A key focus of the role is building and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, developing a positive people culture across the networks and ensuring positive customer interactions exist at all business levels that support long-term relationships. 

With people being at the heart of this company, it is essential that you are adept at creating real connections and use your collaborative and engaging leadership style to take on the responsibility of leading and guiding and a circa 500 strong diverse team to consistently deliver a high quality of service to our customers across New Zealand.

About you:

You will be a strong, authentic commercial leader that ideally hails from a facilities services delivery environment.  You will need extensive experience and a proven track record in senior management with particular emphasis on relationship management, financial and business acumen, along with experience in delivering against contractual requirements

Managing a large multi-trade service delivery team of professionals will come naturally to you and you will thrive in an environment where values and culture are not just words on a wall.   You’ll be able to bring fresh innovative ideas to the team along with an analytical mind that can problem solve on the fly and the ability to drive value add change initiatives to create a best practice operational landscape.  Building Zero Harm cultures to keep our people safe is a high priority to you.
