Position summary


Downer's Corporate Services are seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst based in Melbourne, Victoria. Reporting into the IR EBA Payroll Build Lead, you will maintain, support and deliver high quality, robust, and effective changes within our payroll systems and to our business stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively work with the EBA Build, Test and Payroll reporting teams to plan, co-ordinate and deliver EBA and other configuration changes to the Payroll Operations team. 
  2. Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and analyse requirements.
  3. Provide accurate administration, support and maintenance of our Legacy Payroll systems, e.g. PayGlobal HRIS application, Meridian and Attache payroll applications.
  4. Provide system and reporting configuration.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Systems Functional Consultant with 3+ years' experience in implementations of Payroll, HR, Onboarding/Offboarding and EBA development
  • 2+ years of end to end payroll experience working with a large payroll department
  • Award interpretation with an ability to advise and consult on system amendments
  • Technical experience completing software implementations/configurations in the award interpreter, time management and scheduling modules in PayGlobal
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL/SSRS report writing
  • Configuration experience with Meridian and Attache is favourable
  • Payroll processing knowledge and experience essential
  • Advanced MS Excel (Essential)
  • Basic MS Word
