About the role:
Downer Power and Gas is a leading provider of end-to-end services, providing design, construction & maintenance solutions for Power & Gas distribution network owners. Experiencing business success with strong project pipelines, we have a need for a number of great people to join our team. Committed to meeting the highest regulatory standards we are aligned with some of NZ’s largest networks, covering up to 30,000kms.
The TMP Planner provides essential support for the Gas Civils team / projects and is the primary account manager for the Road Corridor Access Client. The role provides essential knowledge of TMP operation and liaison, presentation and delivery of the department’s capability to provide a professional service. This role requires taking responsibility of the design, opening/closing CAR’s and submission of Traffic Management drawings and dealing with requestors on a daily basics.
As a natural planner you’ll have strong organisational skills and demonstrate self-motivation to get the job done and get it done right. Not shy to get in touch with your stakeholders you’ll be a strong communicator able to drive the process from behind and identify areas to improve efficiencies.
Strong administration skills and computer literacy able to juggle multiple computer systems is essential. Ideally, you will also bring knowledge of the CAR WAP TMP process to jump feet first into this critical role and get things humming for us. You will also have:
- RAPID Plan / CAD experience preferable or similar level of software
- Level 2/3 Non-Practising STMS
- My worksite Knowledge
