Our Surfacing Division covers maintenance of NZ roads and is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our Asphalt crew.
Based in Tauranga, you’ll be key to establishing a strong team to complete reconstruction and resurfacing works of our roads primarily in the Bay of Plenty region. This role will mostly be involved in planning and organising the crew and all their resources, so that work can be completed safely and at the highest quality.

About the Role:
The primary role will be effective management and supervision of the crew carrying out Paving Works. The Supervisor will be expected to be involved in planning, organizing, directing activities and operations of crews. They will ensure that work is completed to the satisfaction of customers and all targets (productivity, quality and safety) are met.
As the Supervisor, you will assist in the management of specific operations in the department, aiding the delivery of contract requirements, optimization of resource use and achieving target results.
This role will be ‘hands on’ where you will be providing training and development to the crews under your supervision, so you will need to have a proven track record of leadership. You’ll also have:
