We have an exciting opportunity to be a part of this high performing team as our Renewals Programme Manager. If you’ve had experience overseeing civil projects, have strong relationship building skills, and have a strategic mindset, this could be the perfect next step.

 

About the role

This role forms a crucial part of our Dunedin based team, managing the development and implementation of the programme for end-to-end renewal delivery and ensuring all those contributing to and/or affected by the process are aware of and have input to the programme.

You’ll be tracking and overseeing the execution of a number of projects at any one time. You’ll be working collaboratively with the management team to ensure that projects are managed on time and to budget for the client.

Day to day you will:

  • Establish and monitor progress of approved work programmes
  • Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external, maintaining positive working relationships
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to ensure projects are delivered in full
  • Establish robust financial tracking and monitoring regimes with supply chains
  • Be a visible people leader who drives a high standard of compliance to safety
  • Monitoring and reporting progress against the programme, identifying variances, reporting these to ensure effective cost management

 

About you

You’ll have experience in the civil industry with a solid technical understanding of the types of projects we work on. You’ll be confident in your abilities but also see yourself as always learning.

You’ll have:

  • Proven ability to manage multifaceted supplier/service provider relationships and develop effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues in a clear and rigorous manner to maximize impact
  • Passion, drive and enthusiasm and highly self-motivated to drive results
  • Sound commercial understanding and acumen.

In addition to this, you’ll also have a strong track record that clearly demonstrates leadership behaviours that empower others coupled with a proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
