The DM Roads business provides a range of services in road network management.  We assist road and intelligent transport systems (ITS) asset owners to extract maximum value from their assets and provide road networks that meet the demand of today’s ever-changing environment. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road.  

We are seeking a commercially astute Administration Officer to join our Contracting Services team. This role is responsible for financial processing, management and enhancement for our Mornington business, based in Hastings, Victoria.

You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure the financial administrative requirements for various contracts are achieved, in order to sustain growth and aid in business performance.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will have a strong Administration background coupled with operational exposure and financial management experience, preferably within heavy industrial or engineering sectors.  You will also possess;

• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Excellent analytical, numerical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Advance time management and detail-oriented skills
• Well-developed communication skills with the ability to build and sustain enduring stakeholder relationships
• Knowledge and experience to contribute ideas and to the continuous improvement program
• Proficient computer skills with high competence in the Microsoft Office suite and large financial systems (JDEGS highly regarded)
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
