About the role
Our Transport division is proudly building the Civil Infrastructure in Auckland. But we can’t do it alone, we need you! We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Carpenter to support the team working on civil construction projects in Auckland. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable and stable organisation that looks after its people. Based on our Penrose depot, your day-to-day tasks will include:
Civil Carpentry / Construction Projects
Building minor structures and retaining walls, Decks etc
Concrete Formwork and associated works
About you
You will primarily have a can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck into whatever task may be at hand. You will come with some experience working on road maintenance activities and have a passion for public safety. You will be self-driven to respond appropriately to urgent and hazardous jobs and able to work efficiently while unsupervised. You will also:
Hold a current Class 1 Drivers Licence
A trade certificate or equivalent experience in civil carpentry
Show good initiative and be confident in decision making and problem-solving
Show commitment to a Zero Harm environment
