About the role
The Commercial Manager provides management and oversight for commercial activities within various train maintenance and overhaul Projects, on Queensland Rail’s suburban and interurban fleet, under diverse contract delivery models, including Alliance contracts.
The Commercial Manager will oversee and operate as the Downer key Commercial Manager for Qld RTS contracts, including commercial ownership and contract administration for all contracting related matters, including the transition of all existing Maryborough projects in delivery phase to the QR Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA). You will act as the key commercial interface for all bid, contract negotiations and contract delivery related tasks as it relates to interface management and maintenance phase related activities regarding the project/s.
This is a full-time permanent position based in our Maryborough Service Delivery Centre with the flexibility of WFH.
About You
A minimum of 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in engineering services, heavy equipment, construction and/or infrastructure businesses would be ideal.
Extensive experience in commercial and contract management and administration in complex / high value contracting environment.
Ability to liaise with internal major projects and bid teams to deliver workable contracts for growth projects.
Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
