An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced and self-motivated Maintenance Fitter to work within our Rosehill asphalt production plant. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be part of a collaborative Production team to ensure that we are delivering the best from our assets and maintaining them for the future.
This a permanent full-time position that will provide the opportunity to develop a long-term career with an industry leader.
ABOUT YOU
Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Heavy Plant, Boilermaker or similar.
Extensive exposure to fast passed manufacturing plants, exposure within Asphalt manufacturing would be highly regarded.
Hands on approach to diagnosing faults and proactively manage breakdowns of equipment or process failures.
Assist in all areas of preventative Maintenance planning and strategy techniques.
Previous experience working autonomously or with limited supervision in plant Maintenance Planning function.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and systems with the ability to identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.
