About the role:
We are looking for a confident, articulate and detail orientated person with a friendly nature and excellent customer skills. Someone who is empathetic and wants to be part of a supportive and progressive team.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders and community members
Provide frontline support and assistance, including responding to telephone and email enquiries and complaints
Identify stakeholder and community issues and recommend strategies to respond, prevent complaints and minimise impacts
Record and report all stakeholder and community contact within Consultation Manager
Draft high-quality community notifications, newsletters and monthly email updates
Assist with face to face consultation with local stakeholders and community members
Assist with community events, site visits, and community and stakeholder meetings
Work co-operatively with the site and functional teams and comply with all relevant procedures
About you:
A communication/community relations or resolutions practitioner with minimum of 2 years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, customer resolution or community liaison and communications in similar roles
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Sound ability to identify community issues and understanding of stakeholder and community attitudes and needs in relation to the project
Proficient information management and technology skills
Reporting, compliance and records management
