Due to the expansion of Paving operations across New Zealand, we are looking for highly motivated individuals to operate alongside our Asphalt team. This role is based in Hamilton.

About the job:   

You'll be part of a dedicated crew who provide operational support on our Asphalt maintenance jobs. You will be responsible for ensuring that asphalt machinery is operated in, presented, serviced, and maintained in a professional, safe and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation, regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets.

About you:  

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

• Candidates will preferably have at least three years of relevant experience for this role
• Full Class 1 and 2 Drivers Licence (or International equivalent) - Class 4 & 5 NZ Drivers Licence with WTR and Forklift endorsements is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
• Experience or exposure to civil machinery operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will work with an extensive range of Downer and contracting crew members 
• Commitment to a high standard of Health & Safety  
• Experienced and able to learn computer systems
