Our Taumarunui depot supports projects for the Taranaki and Central Waikato NOC. We are looking for experienced Driver / Operators to join us and assist with assorted projects within and surrounding the region. You will operate as a core team member both on machinery and hand tools, as required. Your day to day tasks will include:

• The operation of Rollers, Pavers, Graders, Lime Spreaders, Trucks and Excavators
• Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
• Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to projects
• Being open and willing to develop your skill set and advance your career

This is a permanent, full time job, primarily operating Monday to Friday however flexibility to work nights and on away projects is appreciated. If you enjoy spending your day’s outdoors and getting involved in practical work, this is the job for you!

About you:
You will have a professional and positive attitude, ideally with experience in the roading/civil industry. You will also have:

• Full Class 1, Class 2, Class 4 and/or Class 5 New Zealand Drivers licence with WTR endorsements
• A big focus on both safety and quality
• The ability to work well within a team and alone when required
• A can-do attitude with a good work ethic
• Demonstrated that you are reliable and dependable
• A high level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role

We are willing to offer training, support to gain licenses and relocation support for the right applicants!
