Reporting to our Accounting Services Finance Supervisor you will be responsible for payroll related third-party payments, balance sheet and bank account reconciliations, lease accounting and fixed asset management. Get involved in some exciting projects and engage in continuous improvement activities to streamline various processes within the team!
About you
Bachelor of Commerce - Major in Accounting
And CA or CPA qualified or working towards.
3 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant: action orientated and outcome driven
Demonstrated experience in process reengineering and challenging the status quo
Experience working with large corporate ERP and payroll systems (Oracle and/or SAP preferred).
Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities
Excellent communication skills

Our Compliance and Accounting Services Team forms part of the Business Services Centre here at Downer and provides transactional accounting support to the Downer Group. This is a high-volume processing environment where operations management and continuous improvement are vital to success. The BSC has around 350 staff, pays over 50,000 employees.
