The role is employed to support the operations team deliver marketing, communications, and brand development activities within the Fleet Business.

Relationships build success and we are looking for our next relationship builder to join our fleet management team, as a Fleet Communications Coordinator. You can be based at your closest Downer branch,  and will be part of our national fleet support team you will be helping keep our fleet mobile. Your primary skill will be in delivering high quality customer service, connecting people with internal and external services. With a big problem-solving focus, you’ll ensure our end users find the answers for fleet related queries in a timely manner which enhances our reputation.  

About the role

The Fleet Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing design and production of corporate and industry marketing assets and industry communications. Responsibilities include managing cross-departmental creative projects, presentation development and developing corporate digital graphics.

• Work with the team on projects to ensure they are presented to a high standard visually.
• Work with the Field Delivery Team Leaders to educate the wider team through digital collateral (video and copywriting and graphic design).
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using Adobe software
• Work with the branding team to produce final design
• Data entry and maintaining data integrity

About you
As an experienced relationship builder, you’ll bring your adaptable and flexible communication and negotiation skills with customers and major suppliers.  You’ll couple this with:

• Delivering outcomes in a fast paced environment
• Ability to problem solve and make your own decisions
• Able to contribute positively to a strong team dynamic

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in (Marketing/Communications advantageous)
• 4+ Years in a marketing or communications role or similar
• Previous experience in transport industry (advantageous)
• Intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
• Proven track record in developing successful relationships with stakeholders
• Clear understanding of positive leadership behaviours and strong and successful collaborative relationships with peers in a corporate environment
• Good communication skills and an ability to forge strong, positive relationships
• Organised and systematic approach to working environment
• A positive/proactive work ethic
• Team player
