About the role:

As a General Labourer / Driver Operator, you will be involved in exciting projects, picking up civil work, operating of heavy machinery, and preparing worksites.You will mainly support maintenance roading projects like building footpaths, kerb and channels, landscaping, and asphalt chip sealing.

You will operate plant including trucks and excavators, as well as working hands-on with tools.

This is a full-time, permanent role guaranteeing 40 hours of paid work per week. You will primarily work over a Monday – Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work.  

About you:
Our ideal candidate would have plenty of experience operating civil machinery and would be confident operating both within a team and as a solo operator.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience operating a range of machines including excavators, trucks and rollers etc.
• You will be comfortable using machinery and hand tools to get the job done
• Have a Class 1 and Class 2 licenses essential (Class 4 license with a WTR endorsement is advantageous)
• A positive outlook, friendly attitude, and willingness to flex to the work as and where required

If you have your class 2 license, a self-starter attitude, and some experience in the civil construction space – we can teach you the rest!
