We are looking for an experienced or up-and-coming General Labourer / Driver Operator to join the Downer team in Auckland.

About the role:
The Downer Construction team needs a physically fit and motivated person to join our crew and lend a helping hand as a General Labourer / Driver Operator. You will be involved in the general operation of machinery as well as day-to-day manual labouring duties. This could include:

• Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
• Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Transporting, loading and unloading machinery to and from sites

About you:
Ideally, you will bring the following skills to the role but training is available for the right candidate.

• Class 1 restricted or full license is required
• Class 2 or WTR license is preferred
• Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
• Flexibility is desirable given you will be required to work shift work
• Civil construction experience desirable
• Have a positive 'can do' attitude
