NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and Downer, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link) as part of METRONET.
As a Junior Engineer reporting to the Senior Engineer for Downer, based in Bibra Lake or Butler, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team of NEWest Alliance Project responsible for supporting our construction operations. We are seeking talented, motivated and enthusiastic professionals that are keen to progress their career on a one of Western Australia’s largest infrastructure projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring key construction requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications
Managing subcontractors and suppliers work
Managing the verification of conformance for works under control (quality, safety, environment)
Maintaining all relevant project document control and records
Managing temporary works design and ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained
Knowledge of CAD is ideal
Collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment on site
Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.
Strong understanding of programme management, deadlines and budget controls
Experience liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
Strong attitude and awareness of Safety
High level verbal and written communication skills
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
ABOUT YOU
Degree qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering
Drivers licence and construction industry white card
