ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to recently acquired additional work, we’re seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Telecommunications team based in our North Ryde, NSW office. You will be responsible for:

• The coordination and communication of the transportation of materials between supply chain, project managers and customers
• Participating in weekly forecast reviews with the project team to ensure material is available to complete upcoming work
• Processing material requisition requests in line with project requirements
• Monitoring excess stock held by subcontractors and coordinating its return
• Liaising with Downer's Inventory team and warehouse staff to ensure all stock is made available as per business requirements and in line with Service Agreements

ABOUT YOU

• Strong experience in customer service & data entry, with a fast paced environment
• Industry: ideally coming from a background in Operations, Telco & / logistics (however not essential)
• Software: Office suite (Excel: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills: E.g. pivot tables), JDE (beneficial)
• Experience coordinating activities between project and supply chain teams
• Ability to develop effective and efficient relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors: strong personality and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with stock management, transportation planning or sales operations, within a project-based environment & preferably telecommunications industry
• Qualification in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management highly regarded, however not essential
