About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Paving Operatives to join our close-knit crew in Christchurch. Supporting the paving crew to deliver on our contracts, your work-days will involve a variety of operational tasks such as:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles
• Operating Rollers
• Operating Bobcats
• Operating Paving Levels

You will be a part of a team that designs, builds, and maintains 25,000 kms worth of roads in Aotearoa. With over 150 years of projects and knowledge under our belts, our position is strong, and our vision is innovative and future focused (just like your career once you join us). About you

We are looking for a reliable team player who is an experienced paver, as well as having:

• A proven ability in the proper care, maintenance and operation of plant and equipment
• A full driver’s licence – with WTR endorsements
• A Class 2 and/or Class 4 would be an advantage
• Having a strong health and safety attitude
• Experience in operating a variety of civil machinery is advantageous
