Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is committed to providing the highest quality of Rollingstock & Overhaul services for both the local NSW and wider Australian markets. We are currently seeking a Performance Attribution Analyst to join our highly skilled team.
About the role
Our Performance Attribution Analysts investigate train incidents and resolve incident attribution with our customers against contract requirements. You will manage data effectively, prepare detailed attribution reports, provide information to appropriate managers for reliability improvement and support the RTS Commercial and Financial teams.
This is a specialised role; the successful candidate will be provided ongoing training to excel in this position. We are looking for candidates who are technically minded, passionate about analytics and commercially astute with a desire to gain long term career opportunities within the Rail Industry.
Role requirements
Incident/defect life cycle management
Conduct detailed technical investigation
Understanding of commercial contract management
Maximise long term Contracts’ profitability
Commercially and technically astute
Build and maintain positive working relationships
Address customer issues quickly and effectively.
Specific desired skills and experience
Background in Rail, Aerospace, Defence or similar heavy industry desirable
Minimum of 1-2 years of Engineering and / or Operations experience
Australian-recognised Trade or Engineering qualifications
Understanding and interpretation of contractual agreements
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills with the confidence to negotiate with external Clients
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct detailed investigations and provide clear and decisive results and written reports.
