About the Role:

Based in Christchurch and working across the Canterbury region, you’ll help deliver to our growing number of civil construction and maintenance projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all aspects of the end-to-end horizontal civil construction, ensuring they run efficiently and deliver optimum outcomes. 

As Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and updating project budgets and programmes
  • Working alongside the Project Manager to estimate and tender for new projects
  • Advising and leading Site Engineers, onsite delivery teams as well as sub-contractors
  • Having ownership of all project documentation
  • Developing and fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

About you 

To be successful for this opportunity we are looking for a collaborative team player who will bring with them the following skills and experience:

  • A NZ recognised qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Strong industry experience in delivery of Civil Engineering projects
  • Experience in urban and rural Civil work environments
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Excellent use of MS Suite products including Project or Primavera 6
