As a Road Marking Assistant at Downer, you will be a part of a team that designs, builds, and maintains 25,000kms worth of roads in Aotearoa. With over 150 years of projects and knowledge under our belts, our position is strong, and our vision is innovative and future focused (just like your career once you join us). We are building sustainable communities that you can be proud to say that you have been a part of producing.
This is a permanent, full time position, primarily working Monday – Friday however, flexibility to undertake night, weekend, and working away from home duties from time to time may be required.

With your reliability, positive attitude, and commitment to championing safe work practices, you will also bring with you:
Experience in the industry (ideal but not essential)
A commitment to maintaining and caring for our machinery
A Full Class 1 New Zealand drivers’ License with the ability to drive a manual vehicle (a Class 2 License would also be beneficial)
A flexibility to work rostered shifts including nights and weekends
This is a labouring role and will require someone who has a good level of fitness
