If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Desk Team Leader to join our team based in North Ryde. This is a full-time permanent position offering Hybrid working three days from home and two days in office.
This position sits within our BSC (Business Services Centre) Accounts Payable team which operates a high-volume processing, payments and resolution and leverages on leading edge technology, and the capabilities, knowledge, and experience of our people.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager of Purchase to Pay Operations, your role as the Service Desk Team Lead will be responsible for:
Leading, managing and developing a team of Service Desk Officers
Managing of day-to-day Accounts Payable and the Resolution activities in relation to invoice processing and payments
Managing expectations of internal and external customers
Guide and support staff in the day-to-day management of resolution processes/procedures assigned as in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and key BSC objectives.
Delivery of accurate and timely completion of resolution activities agreed timelines and framework.
Ensuring timely and accurate investigation and resolution of enquiries
Collaborating with Processing, Reconciliation and Payments teams to facilitate payment of accounts to avoid operational disruption.
Building and maintaining relationships with all BSC customers to enable efficient resolution of payment related issues. This includes building rapport with key business contacts, understanding any process exceptions, and working within the service level agreement.
ABOUT YOU
3 years Accounts Payable experience within a large company
Experience managing a team of 4-6 people
Experience in reconciliation and resolution activities.
Experience in working with ERP systems and invoice management tools
Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline
Intermediate or advanced Excel skills preferred
