Downer PipeTech provides innovative solutions to the Water and Wastewater industry across the East Coast of Australia. As a key service within Downer Water Services, PipeTech currently deliver pipe and culvert relining, stormwater and sewer pipe repairs, alterations, pipe inspections and repairs for Road, Rail, Council and Water Authorities nationally.
THE ROLE
With numerous projects underway, this team is currently seeking a Site Engineer to provide support to the National Projects Team in a Full Time, permanent capacity. ?
Reporting to The Project Manager, the Site Engineer will assist the Project Engineering team in the preconstruction, construction and post construction phase of multiple project lifecycles.
Some key responsibilities include:
Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to ensure the cost-effective completion of projects.
Prepare tenders prior to work commencement, initiate handover documentation, including review of drawings for submission to client for final sign off.
Planning people mobilisations and procuring necessary materials for scope of works across various locations.
Ensure projects are sufficiently resourced throughout the lifecycle to ensure successful and timely completions.
ABOUT YOU
Tertiary degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
Unwavering commitment to Zero Harm at all times
Experience in construction delivery projects (water experience highly advantageous).
Pragmatic disposition, willingness to learn, excellent communicator and collaborative nature.
