Our On Demand Module (ODM) contract is to service both business and commercial customers along with residential applications providing them access to nbn’s fixed network across all technologies including FTTP, FTTC, FTTN and HFC. The contract covers NSW, QLD and WA and utilises a schedule of rates model to complete the works. The works include the full survey, design and construction of these customer orders to connect them to the local nbn network.
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our project team. Your role will be responsible for supervising our construction partners, ensuring delivery of ticket of work and project works are on-time and to schedule as well as monitoring quality. Previous experience in a similar role combined with a collaborative leadership style will ensure your success in this position.
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor within the telecommunications and civil construction industries
Strong understanding of the telecommunications Pit & Pipe Network
A sound understanding and working knowledge of fibre optic networks
Prior experience with field/scoping requirements, including conducting exchange and street communications network surveys and customer end surveys
Effective leadership of construction partners with an uncompromising commitment to safety; dedicated to ensuring compliance at all times to site Safety and Environmental Management plans in consultation with the safety team to achieve "Zero Harm"
Must be physically fit and able to walk up to 5 km’s per day and undertake heavy lifting up to 30 kilos
Effective verbal and written skills including producing reports and paperwork on construction activities including prestart and quality checks.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite an advantage.
