DM Roads is delighted to announce it has recently been awarded the new VicRoads Maintenance contract (VRMC). We will deliver routine maintenance, planned maintenance, defect and hazard rectification and emergency response services to more than 8,500 lane kilometres of road in Victoria’s Hume region, stretching from Mitchell Shire on the edge of metropolitan Melbourne to the north-east corner of the State.
Joining our team as a Systems Development and Integration Specialist is an opportunity to drive contract performance improvement through the implementation of cutting-edge technology with the objective to reinvent the way we approach road maintenance, driving optimal outcomes for our customers.
This role is dynamic, with a diverse range of responsibilities that will have you working closely with crews and subcontractors, solving problems, and driving improvement continuously as we deliver best for network, best for client, and best for road users. We want to drive change that uplifts network quality, team moral, and success across all Road Services business units within Downer.
What you’ll bring
Tertiary level Degree in computer science / ICT / Data Analytics or similar experience
Experience in application implementation and database analysis / support role
Exceptional capability in Business Intelligence Reporting and advanced skills in SQL queries
Extensive programming skills with Python, R and/or other relevant software/languages
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting application hardware and software issues and identifying solutions
Exposure to Microsoft Azure Data Solutions and Power Platform is preferred
