Due to ongoing growth and a booming pipeline of work within our Transport Roadmarking business, we have a number of vacancies for a Thermoplastic Roadmarker. You will support the delivery of roadmarking activities across the country.
About the job
Be responsible for completing thermoplastic works in line with client and targeted expectations. This is a full-time (guaranteed 40 hours per week), permanent opportunity, delivering to clients in various locations throughout the country. Your daily activities will include:
Planning, organising, directing and controlling the activities of the day to day Thermoplastic operation
Installing or remarking of Type A and/or B markings in Thermoplastic
Installing or remarking of hand-laid Thermoplastic
Ensure your teams information gets through to payroll and processed correctly
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and all targets (productivity, quality and safety) are met
Working with your team to execute the current and future workload
Maintaining the thermoplastic plant to a high standard
We are open to your base location, as so long as you can commit to regular travel and periods of time away from home.
About you:
You will a self-motivated, energetic, and results-orientated individual. You will be the type of person who remains calm under pressure, and someone who can recognise and prioritise allocation of resources as work as required. This will require being available or working extended hours. You will also:
A Class 2 Full Drivers licence (desirable)
Great attention to detail
Minimum one year of experience in Thermoplastic Roadmarking
Have strong attention to detail with the ability to plan, listen and problem solve
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership strength with the ability to guide, coach, and empower others
The ability to articulate and demonstrate a thorough understanding of safe worksite practices
Be flexible to work both day and night shifts
Be able to stay away for extended periods of time

Pay rate: $26 - $48 per hour depending on experience
