Exciting times are happening within the Waikato team as we growing our traffic management crew. One of the positions that have been developed as part of this growth is the Traffic Management Planner who will be vital in providing essential management of the Traffic Management Planning Road team.

About the role
As our Temporary Traffic Management Planner you’ll be planning, organising, designing and submitting all Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and the inputting of all activities and operation of crews to ensure contracts are completed to the satisfaction of customers and all targets (quality, safety, productivity and profit) are met. At the same time you will be collaborating with the Road market and Traffic Management Supervisor for the day to day workforce utilisation and scheduling of crews.

About you
You’ll need to bring with you adaptable communication skills and some CAD experience preferable or similar level of software Level 2/3 Non-Practising STMS.

You also have:

  • Previous team management experience and leadership skills (ideally 2+ years)
  • Ideally some exposure / experience in a civil environment
  • Outstanding communication skills with both internal and external parties
  • The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Commitment to a zero harm working environment
